How do you make decisions?

How do you make decisions? How many decisions do you make every day? How much energy does it take?

Are you someone who:

Makes decisions easily & quickly?✅
Or sits on the fence, teetering back and forth, weighing all the pros/cons?⚖️

Do you tend to:

Prioritize other people's opinions?🗣️
Or trust your own inner wisdom?🧭

And once you've finally made a decision:

Do you continue to second-guess and doubt yourself?😰
Or do you trust yourself & your decisions?👍

Recently I shared how the phrase 'trust recession' came into my awareness. I think collectively we are experiencing an interesting time in humanity, highlighted by a collapsing trust in the traditional structures of the world as we knew it.

So what can we do as we move through the 'messy middle' between what once was and the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible (highly recommend the book with that same title, by Charles Eisenstein!). Do you also sometimes think "But I'm only one person!"?

Which brings me back to the questions at the beginning:

How do you make decisions?
Do you make them easily & quickly or do you sit on the fence?
Do you trust yourself & your decisions?

If the logical left-brain wants some numbers... The average adult makes approximately

⚖️ 35,000 decisions a day
⚖️ 2,000 decisions per hour
⚖️ 1 decision every 2 seconds
(stats are in response to a quick question to Google/AI)

🤯🤯🤯

When life feels dark, what light guides you?
What wisdom guides you?
What wisdom do you trust - or want to trust more?
